Effective October 11, 2026. This policy explains how Roof Bear LLC, operating as Roof Bear and Solar Bear ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects information when you request service, call us, text us or use this website.

Information we collect

Your name, mobile and other phone numbers, email address, property address, the details you give us about your roofing or solar needs, and records of your appointments, inspections, estimates, invoices, payments and messages with us. When you opt in to text messages we also keep a record of your consent (the date and time, the page or method used, and the consent wording you agreed to).

How we use it

To respond to your request; schedule, perform and follow up on inspections, consultations and installations; send estimates, invoices, appointment confirmations and reminders; answer your questions; and, only if you separately opted in, send follow-ups about open estimates, our referral program and add-on services.

Text messaging (SMS)

Text messaging. If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your request, appointments, estimates and service. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.

Messages come from Roof Bear or Solar Bear, whichever brand you contacted. Customer care messages relate to your request, appointments, estimates and service. Follow-up and offers messages (open estimates you requested, the referral program and add-on services such as gutters or battery backup) are sent only if you separately opted in. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our SMS Terms & Conditions.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business (for example scheduling, estimating, invoicing, messaging, financing and payment software, and equipment manufacturers for warranty registration), who may use it only to provide those services to us, or when required by law. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared, as stated above.

Reply STOP to any text to stop messages. To review, update or delete your information, contact us using the details below.

Data retention and security

We keep customer records for as long as needed to provide service, honor warranties and meet legal and tax obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our services and text programs are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or third-party tracking pixels. Your browser may store basic technical data needed for the site to work. We do not sell or share browsing data. You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
