SMS Terms & Conditions

Effective October 11, 2026. These terms apply to text message programs operated by Roof Bear LLC under the Roof Bear and Solar Bear brands.

1. Programs

Roof Bear / Solar Bear Customer Care: text messages about your request, appointment confirmations and reminders, inspector or crew arrival updates, estimates and invoices.

Roof Bear / Solar Bear Follow-up & Offers: follow-ups about open estimates you requested, our referral program and add-on services such as gutters or battery backup. Sent only to customers who separately opted in to follow-up and offers messages.

2. How you opt in

By checking a texting consent box on our service request form at the mobile number you provide, by texting us first, or by asking our team to text you. By submitting a form with a consent box checked, you agree to receive text messages from Roof Bear / Solar Bear about your request, appointments and service. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can use our services without agreeing to receive text messages.

3. Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your request and service activity (Customer Care). Follow-up & Offers messages are sent up to 4 times per month.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's plan.

5. How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. We also honor END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT and STOP ALL. You will receive one message confirming you have been unsubscribed and no further texts after that. To opt back in, reply START or UNSTOP.

6. Help

Reply HELP to any message for help. Roof Bear: call (727) 471-7442 or reply with your question. Solar Bear: reply with your question or use our contact form.

7. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the account holder (or have the account holder's permission) for the mobile number you provide to opt in to our text messages.

8. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

10. Changes and contact
